Another fun wavetable: Made from a voice saying 'Sonic' from the intro tune of a familliar synth-themed podcast :)

Well, sadly, the wavpro3 URL now directs to a page featuring... far eastern ladies engaging in questionable behavior. (And a pox on algorithms that restrict the words we can use!)

But on a more positive note, my first successful wavetable: a sine wave in various phases. This allows for "linear FM" by Osc 1 and/or 2, with no shift in pitch as the modulator amplitude and/or waveform are changed. Complex 3-operator FM!

Downside: it's really only useful for basses, since the band limiting in Osc 3 pretty much wipes out the effect of FM in the upper keys.

Wow.  Elric, thanks for noticing this.  Chysn was a prolific poster so im surprised we didnt catch this earlier.  This "gone" would be a real shame.

Some wavetables in this thread were posted on www.wav2pro3.com only, not as attachments in this thread

Would the original authors, or someone who downloaded and saved those while the website was still active, be kind enough to repost them as attachments to this thread, please?

Is there a list of names for the new Wavetables or even for all of the Wavetables in the Pro 3 in general. I don't even think the manual has these.

The names for the new Pro 3 wavetables are in the filenames and stored in the SysEx files, of course. Since it's not possible, as far as I know, to dump the wavetables or the names, yet, I typed them in (any errors for 1-32 names are mine ;-). The list below for 33-64 were generated from the newly posted Pro 3 wavetables.

Code: [Select]
====Pro 3 Oscillator 3 Wavetable Names
Note: 1-32 included in base Pro 3 OS.
33-64 from new Pro 3 Wavetables made available in July 2021.

Does anyone have or know where I can download the factory 33-64 sysex files?  I have them in my Pro3 but want to make sure I can restore them before I write over them. The relevant Squential webpage states they are available but they don’t appear in my Safari browser.  Thanks!
