Buying a Rev2 now or wait ?

I have a special discount only valid for 7 days.

I know a new synth from Sequential is on its way...

Would you guys pull the trigger on a Rev2 now or losing a discount and wait until next Sequential product will be revealed ?

Hard to say without knowing what the discount is, but since Dave says the new synth will ship in August, I would be inclined to wait.   I like to wait at least a year (maybe 2) after a synths intro to the market, to get all the bugs worked out but there is an excitement in being an early adopter and partaking in early buzz as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the new synth is -- 8 voice Prophet or OBie?  Maybe an FPGA based successor to the Prophet 12 line?   A revive of the Poly Evolver?
