The Pro 3 is such a great synth to work with. So immediate and playable, considering how many options it has.

I also find that it pairs up brilliantly with the Sirin on the audio input. This basically gives you a couple of extra Moogy-toned oscillators that can be mixed in at will. Or you can sequence it independently of the pro 3 and for more complexity.

Great Combo!

Just curious, does the default MIDI note sent to the Sirin have the same default octave as the internal oscillators?

Years ago when I tried to pair my Minitaur with the Pro2, the Minitaur was playing an octave off. I can’t recall if it was too high or too low, but it meant that I’d have to adjust the Pro2 oscillator range to match it for every patch created with the two of them.

That and using the Pro2 slider’s CC would lock up some adjustments on the Minitaur’s oscillators.

Hey there,

The Sirin plays 1 octave lower than the Pro 3’s oscillators, so I pitch them down as required. :)

Very cool! I'm gonna try this with my Bro-1.
