Midi loops and hanging notes if midi clock is enabled

Hi all,

First post here, just got my Pro 3 yesterday and have issues with midi loops, notes hanging and other weirdness...
I've got the Pro 3 connected to my Pyramid sequencer's midi in to use it as my main keyboard and vice versa to sequence / play using the Pro 3 keyboard.
To sync stuff on the Pro 3 I send midi clock from the Pyramid.

I think the issue I have is the sequencer sending midi notes to the same output as the keyboard going into the Pyramid and back out to the Pro 3 again.

Am I missing something?? Is there a way to simply stop the sequencer from sending notes out to midi out?
I'd like keyboard midi out to work and be able to sync the sequencer to the Pyramid.

Could be the beta firmware I'm running. Asked support for a previous version.

Check that you have Local Control set to OFF or Key Wheels OFF.

Yes, set to Key/Wheel off.

It seems to work when I turn the Pro 3 sequencer notes off and set the midi echo on the Pyramid to "auto midi A"
