Colored buttons - what do they mean?

Colored buttons - what do they mean?
« on: April 21, 2020, 11:57:25 AM »
Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough, but is there a resource that describes why the sequencer buttons change color (the one playing is usually white) and why other buttons are file between red/pinkish, etc.?  I can't figure out what they mean via casual use ( just got it the other day).
Many thanks!

Yeah it confused me at first. But the coding is useful once you know it.

The color corresponds to the destination parameter that the sequencer track points to.

- Tracks 1-3 are red and are the note, duration, and ratchet parameters
- Track 4 is orange and defaults to cutoff
- Tracks 5-16 are blue and can have whichever target you want

Steps which are lighter in color (pink on track 1-3) indicate a TIE.

Most destinations are blue. Cutoff is orange, and seems to be the only orange one. MIDI destinations are green. CV destinations are teal....

It would be cool if there was sort of a high-level overview, where each track button was lit up with the color of the destination for that track.
