Really enjoying the Pro 3!

Here's some sound designs I've been working on. I'm building up a full bank - hoping to have it finished by end of April.

If anyone has requests for certain types of sounds, or specific song tones, let me know!

Board of Canada ROYGBV Bass
This was requested by a user on Pro 3 Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/762398134270622/)
A tone similar to the BoC ROYGBV bass intro.

Lead Dagger Distortion
A Lead tone that uses filter drive, the distortion circuit, and tuned feedback along with a bunch of modulation to dial in the distortion across the keyboard using note num. I was going for something super aggressive that can slice through any mix. I'm finding the Pro 3 distortion and feedback circuitry to be very musical... one of the best implementations of distortion/overdrive in a synth I've had.

The Cars "Let's Go" Sync Lead
This one is a synth standard. I program it into basically every synth I own. I love Greg Hawkes' keyboard parts and The Cars is one of my favorite synth rock bands.

Paraphonic Synth Brass
Exploring the paraphonic capabilities of the Pro 3. This synth can coax out some pretty good poly/paraphonic sounds, and fill in harmony/chord duties when needed. This is a sort of classic synth brass type of sound.

Paraphonic Epilogue Pad
This is another paraphonic patch design, with lots of modulation and onboard effects to give a big poly pad type of sound using just the three oscillator foundation. The Pro 3 is highly capable of pulling off big atmospheric, soundtrack type of sounds.

Blade Runner Style Paraphonic Pad
Not really the wheelhouse for the Pro3, but its paraphonic mode can pull off some pretty nice sounds with up to three notes. Some outboard dome reverb provided by Source Audio Collider

Paraphonic Electric Piano Tone with Live Modulation
EP style patch programmed for paraphonic playing, but with a mono sequence... you can create some interesting poly-rhythms by adjusting paraphonic osc octaves while playing a mono seq. Drums provided by a TR8S

Collider is awesome! I'm using the onboard delay/reverb effects a lot in the Pro3, as they sound really good (and can be modulated)... but for paraphonic patches, strings and pads, the Collider is a great addition. My favorites are the Shimmer and Dome reverbs.

Can the Pro 3 send out CCs from the sequencer? If so, you could modulate the parameters of the Collider as it is possible to map any of its parameters to CC numbers of your choice.

Yeah, Pro 3 can send CC data... I've went down that road before with other synths and outboard effects units - while it's technically possible, I've just found its too much work when considering sync'ing program changes and CCs for multiple patches. Perhaps if you just wanted to map something more global like reverb/delay mix levels, that might be a good option to have on tap.

I really like the Pro 3 onboard effects though, and find them very usable for most of my effects needs... It would be cool to have a reverb shimmer effect built in, and I would love it they added some more parameters to the stereo delay effect... like ping pong or alternate timed L/R delay... those are the primary things I'm gonna use Collider for.
