Having so much fun learning the ropes on the Pro3.

The 32 slot mod matrix is just epic!..   gives you so much freedom to fine tune sound design, adding tons of little quirks based on keyboard performance and controllers.

Here's a Clavi patch I just put together.

Sounds nice! Yeah the matrix and sequencer slots are almost decadent. But then I go start a patch on the Rev2 and think it's limited by comparison!

Hah... I had the exact same thought last night!... as I was doing sound design, was switching between Pro3 and Rev2 and realized how many Rev2 patches I have maxed out all eight mod slots plus the fixed ones...  with the Rev, I'm constantly making choices to focus on the bigger picture modulations and ignore smaller nuances.

On Pro3, options are virtually endless... you can add in tons of little modulation quirks and nuances.  Really enjoying it.    Hoping that Seq's next poly synth has 32 mod slots :)

sounds lovely. I don’t know if you’ve incorporated this but when I’ve  designed clay patches I’ve found that if I use a negative envelope depth to achieve the main sound, it allows me to successfully replicate the “thunk” of the dampers by setting amp envelope release but having a shorter filter envelope release. You can also use the main filter cutoff to simulate the clav’s mute function. Playing with the pulse width of the square wave allows some replication of the various pickup settings.

Cool... I'll play around with the Clavi patch a bit more tonight.. will try out some more fine tuning of envelopes as suggested.  Thanks for the tips! :)
