After working on it (and off) for 14 months REV2 Degrader™ (R2DG for short) is now officially available from https://audiocookbook.org/rev2-patch-degrader/. The application is designed to algorithmically morph parameters in realtime. Keep playing or record the results as up to one-hundred-twenty-one parameters on the REV2 are morphed or randomized.

Use R2DG to create anything from chaotic rapidly changing textures to slow evolving drones. REV2 Degrader breathes new life into the REV2 allowing you to explore vast unique soundscapes illustrating how powerful and diverse the instrument really is. This tool is designed to help you uncover new territory hidden within the sonic depths of the REV2. Although R2DG was specifically built to work with the REV2, the software is independently designed and developed, and unaffiliated with Sequential.com.

R2DG is available for Mac OS 10.11.x and higher. A Windows version is planned. Purchase guarantees access to all future upgrades of R2DG and will help support the development of more software and patchbanks for the REV2 and other instruments. More here:

Now that the released version can also import an existing patch and degrade away . . . the app is revealing textures I would not have realized just tweaking the knobs the manual way . . . well done.
