Beginning to think something is wrong with this unit.

I recently bought a Novation Peak and after having it side by side with my Rev 2, I'm starting to think something is wrong with this unit. The output is a good 10-15dB less than the Novation, which, on it's own, doesn't set off any alarms. But as I go through the patches, almost none of the knobs engage. I mean, if nothing else, moving the filter around should have some effect on almost every patch, no?

I'm about ready to contact DSI and see about sending the unit in to have them look it over, but before I do that I thought I'd subject myself to the whims of the Great and Powerful Internet to see if maybe I'm simply overlooking something. Any help would be appreciated.

Generally yes. If it behaves like that with no MIDI or expression in/out you should probably contact support

In global settings, perhaps double check if "local control" is disabled (it should be enabled).

Problem solved.

I've been using the Codeknobs software as a patch librarian and one of the settings was off. All is well now.
