Rev 2 osc control?

Rev 2 osc control?

This is one topic that keeps coming to my mind every time I play the rev 2.it should have OSC control down to components level.

I make a lot of algorhythmic music with pure data that include my own ideas about mathematical tunings, just intonation etc once you get into that the possibilities are endless its true.future music.

I even started programming my own version of the prophet vs in pure data which is totally based on whole nr relationships.

The rev2 can do all that and more because it eliminates all problems connected to mirror freq around nyquist. It opens up another world of sound in the top end and has enough oscillators to stack really complex sounds and the dcos are just as precise as pure data ones. And if you could control the 4 lfos in phase and freq there is so much more you could do in sequencing  than "modulation".

But it's a dumbed down to midi resolution or randomized via slop. You basically have a scientifically precise instrument with control for dummies.

SO Dave if you are listening, it's 2020, most electronic musicians have a deep understanding of synthesis and even if you think dumbed down instruments sell better give us complete numeric control via OSC. Then we can build our own interfaces and that will happen quickly.

Maybe it's already in there somewhere for bug fixes?

You can control every parameter in full resolution offered by the instrument using NRPN messages. From supercollider e.g. I can completely automate and monitor every single parameter in the rev2.
