Weird filter behavior? Attack/Decay

Weird filter behavior? Attack/Decay
« on: December 13, 2019, 10:07:57 PM »
hey all,

i'm having this issue where i can hear the "key noise" for lack of a better term, like a sharp attack & release - seperate from the tone. it's almost like there's a tiny little frequency getting through the filter or something. if i turn amplifier attack/decay up over 80 it goes away.

here's a sound sample from a unison bass patch i was making, but the same isssue is present on a regular init patch too.

https://soundcloud.com/exidor12/z-key-sound

any idea of what's going on? i've recalibrated and that didn't change the issue.

thanks in advance!

kyle

I'm not sure what the clip is demonstrating. There's periodic panning going on. Is that what you mean?

I can hear a sort of ringing resonance on the attack of each note.

I have that sounds when I use the chorus. Switch it off and try again.
