Swing

I can't seem to get the Swing function to work.  Mostly, using Tempest as a slave to Ableton, whether I program a beat with time steps or manually record, I hear no difference when I increase the swing from 50 to 75 percent.  At last, I tried putiing tempest into Master mode and than recording a groove and testing out the swing in the same way and I still did not not hear any difference.  Am I doing something wrong?

if no one else has had any issues like this I am going to assume that it is a malfunction with my tempest itself.
