Ringmod for the prophet 12?

So I realise this is a stretch, but I have a question / request regarding the AM feature of the P12:

Intuitively it seems like a pretty minor modification of the Prophet 12 firmware to be able to do bipolar AM i.e. ringmod, but if I understand correctly, it modulates amplitude only in a unipolar fashion, so no ringmod.

Is there a particular reason that this is omitted, and would this be something that could be considered in a firmware update?

 From what I understand, the P12's computer space is full: I dont think there will be any more updates.
 In my video   you can see that ringmod is actually possible with use of the LFOs. The LFOs can only keyboard track within audio rate for a very narrow frequency range, but you can definitely get ringmod tones with triangle LFOs at high rates. Unfortunately, I dont think we'll get inter-oscillator  bipolar AM on the P12.
 Hopefully someone else will chime in with some more ideas though!
