CV out vs CV out trig

Hi,

I'm trying to modulate the filter on my Boomstar 4075 from the PRO 2.
I have patched the PRO 2 CV Out 1 to the Boomstar VCF FM.
It works if I use the Sequencer using the CV1 Trig as destination, but I can't use a LFO with CV1 as destination.
Nothing is happening then.
Anyone who can help me out here?
