Balanced TRS cables

I have two balanced TRS cables. If I use those to go from my Rev 2 to my Avid Omni.. will there be any difference than using standard instrument cables?

Yes you'll probably have a quieter signal, assuming the Avid's inputs are balanced. Whether they are balanced or not just use TS cables since the Rev2's outputs are unbalanced.

Rev2 is unbalanced. Providing that the Avid Omni has balanced input, using TRS cables will produce the expected noise reduction to the detriment of a 20dB signal reduction.
