New OS 1.2.8 question

I am very excited about the new OS 1.2.8.
I have a question:
Can anyone explain this addition?
"Feature: Decrement step when recording to sequencer added"

It's basically an "undo" of the last sequencer step you entered. Useful if you make a mistake entering the notes.
