best way to move/organise/delete patches

best way to move/organise/delete patches
« on: August 08, 2019, 12:44:22 PM »
hi. ive had my rev2 for about a month now but the biggest thing putting me off using it is organising/deleting/saving patches. what id like to do is go through the user banks, delete/initialise them all then organise them into 4 categories, one per bank... such as bass, chords, leads, fx. but ... it seems very difficult to simply move patches about without purchasing quite an expensive and cumbersome piece of software made by sound tower.
Is there any other simpler, easier solutions? thanks!

I haven't used it myself, but I believe Laser Mammoth is free and works for organizing patches.

I personally use Soundtower (the Editor version)... its not real cheap, but I do recommend it for patch editing and organization.   I have all my user banks organized by patch type, with three letter prefixes (ie:  BRS, KEY, PAD, LED, etc..)

OB-X8, Pro 3, P6, Rev2, Take 5, 3rd Wave, Deepmind, PolyBrute, Sub 37
