Lugi's Waveforms and SoundLab Samples
« on: July 04, 2019, 01:00:41 PM »
Luigi ("laurentluigi" on this forum) sent me some more samples for the Prophet X which I have posted online for you guys to download:  http://modulatable.com/Repository/

The Waveforms pack contains 289 mb of samples -- presumably waveforms.

The SoundLab pack contains 545 mb of samples which I've yet to hear.

Enjoy!

Are these still available anywhere?

Are there any particular features in the Prophet X that make these samples stand out, such as the hybrid digital-analog design?

Essentially you are using samples as if they are oscillators themselves. You can stretch them, loop them in various modes (Regular, Pitched, Looped, Regular Forwards and Backwards, Pitched forwards and backwards, Looped forwards and backwards), you can modulate the start, end, center and loop points of the sample. You can use a sample to FM against another and use the digital oscillators to FM a sample.
