Rev2 Midi to Audio File

Rev2 Midi to Audio File
« on: July 04, 2019, 10:13:01 AM »
I am having issues converting MIDI regions to audio files. I am using Logic Pro X and have connected the Rev2 to the interface with a USB cable. Logic is recognizing the Rev2 and I am able to write MIDI using the synth. The MIDI region plays within Logic. However, the region exports to a silent audio file. Bouncing the region in place does not work either — the bounced track shows up empty. Any help would be appreciated.

USB is for MIDI only on the Rev2–no audio.

You'd have to route the audio outputs of your rev2 into some kind of audio interface and record that. Then it's no problem to record the audio output that results from sending midi signals to the rev2 over the USB or midi cable.

Thank you for the replies. That makes sense and works just fine.
