If i go to F1 P34 WarmArcoStr ... turn down all the instruments and oscillators to zero in the mixer section ... I can still hear the string samples .... It's not stacked .....

There’s a modulation source that is boosting the level of the relevant instrument, I can virtually guarantee it, though I’m not in front of my Prophet X at the moment to look at this particular patch and be more specific.  Have a look through the modulation list and you should be able to spot it quickly enough.
