Parameters revert back to the initial settings after looping. How to fix or stop

I must be missing something simple.  Forgive my being a novice. I recorded midi notes into Logic and wanted to turn the Rev 2 knobs while it plays back (either while it plays or records) to explore the sounds I can get. But every time it loops back to the start of the loop all the parameters revert back to the initial settings.  How do I stop this from happening? Would it be one of the Global Settings or would it be a setting in Logic?

Sounds like the midi clip is setting the bank and program number so when it starts the clip it recalls the program. I don’t know Logic but there should be a spot where you can turn off the program change CC message being sent.
