Pan A/B

Pan A/B
« on: February 24, 2019, 09:50:24 AM »
I'm new to the Rev2, and am going through the manual now.  One thing I can't figure out (which I think should be easy).

How would I, for example, and Layer A only to the left, and Layer B only to the right?

I think this should be simple, but it has thus far escaped me.

Thank you.

1. Switch each Layer's Pan Mode from Alternate to "Fixed"

2. In Modulation Matrix for each layer, set:

Source: DC
Destination: Amp > Pan Spread
Value: You can use -32 on one side, and +32 on the other side.   +/-32 seems to be enough to hard pan... I'm not sure why its that low.

Or, to point out the obvious, use the separate Layer A and B outputs and pan in your mixer or DAW.

Perfect, thank you.   It was the "fixed mode" that I was missing.

That’s one thing I love about this synth, being able to pan each layer and using different frequencies of the filter and such on both layers you really get such a sweet stereo image  8)
