Noisey patch changes

Hi All,

Just picked up an AS-1 second hand. When changing patches it makes a minor crackle or pop, usually on the first change but if you continue scrolling it is quiet. Does anyone else notice this?

I wouldn't worry about it. I just got one and mine does the same and my REV2 did as well. However, mine has a noticeably loud static noise (hissing) out of the outputs. All my analog gear does the same, so I know that at least some of this is normal, but I usually only really start to notice it with my other gear when the volume is above the halfway mark. The static noise doesn't raise or lower with volume changes either like my other gear. Also, I get a loud buzzing when USB is connected, which means the editor app is useless. Is that just the way the AS-1 is?

Thanks for the reply, it’s not that bad but it is noticeable. I have a Mopho kb and X4 and they don’t do it.

Sometimes the effects in the patch causes it. It’s not a fault.
