Sync problem gated sequencer with DAW

hi everyone,
i use a patch with gated seq and it appear that there is a problem of synchronsation, if i put the midi note in my DAW (ableton) at the first step the sequence of gated seqencer is late and out tempo, if i put the midi note juste before the first step of my sequence for ex is the gated sequence patch begin a mesure 8 i have to put the MIDI note a the end of the 7th mesure to be in time.
any idea to fix this problem?
