Hold for ARP not working with one keyboard but not another?

I'm using the Rev2 desktop module. I've got two external MIDI keyboards. If I enable both Arp and Hold on the synth, then send notes from the first keyboard, the arpeggio is held, as expected. On the other keyboard it is not. The arpeggio only plays while I hold down the keys. However, hold works without the arpeggiator on. Why is this? What can I do about it? I want arp hold to work as in example one. Thanks.
