initial beat filter position?

hi,
I just noticed that after initializing a beat the filter cutoff shows that its set up to 0 but its actually opened at about 64(?).
So why it is not fully opened at 127?
am I missing something? did anybody else noticed this before?

Put it to 127. Hold both Shift buttons and press the Menu button. Save it as a new initial beat.
