My first real play and recording with the Rev 2.

My first real play and recording with the Rev 2.
« on: October 09, 2018, 06:10:45 AM »
I got the Rev 2 just over a week ago and finally got a solid couple of days to play with it.  I went through all the presets before doing anything else and the thing does just sound gorgeous.

This is the first track I've made using this synth.  All the keys are Rev 2 - a mixture of presets and patches I made myself.  The drums and vocoding are done with Ableton Live, as is the production but I've not spent any time on that really.  I just wanted to get something to a point where it was finished enough to move onto the next track.

Anyway, no more words.  Have a link...

There will be a lot more to come  :)

Good work. Sounds beautiful. Like the vocoder. Nice webpage. What did you use to program you're site with?

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all feedback (but positive is always great  :D)

Nice webpage. What did you use to program you're site with?

I built the website myself.  I've been a software developer for a long time so it's "what I do".  I use Visual Studio for coding and Inkscape for graphics.  It's a case of starting with a blank canvas and hand-coding everything.

I must say you did a god work with both the music and your homepage!
