Global Fine Tune and MIDI problem

Hi all.

Loving my PX, but have a strange problem when its connected to MIDI. If I select a new patch from the front panel, very frequently (but not always) the global fine tune gets set to -50. If the PX is not connected to MIDI and is just using LOCAL ON this never happens. I am connecting the PX to a Squark Pyramid sequencer. I presume it's echoing or sending some sort of MIDI message that's setting the global fine tune.

Any ideas of how to fix it most welcome

Try MIDI Monitor for Mac or MIDI-OX with MIDI Yoke for PC, they're free and can spy on the output of a MIDI device without interrupting the MIDI signal.

Believe it or not, I think it was a dodgy MIDI cable! I took everything apart and re-cabled all my MIDI using some new (better quality) cables and its fine now  Fine tune in the PX stays at zero.
