More alternate tuning slots?

Would anybody else have use for more 'slots' to store custom tunings in? This would be very useful to me. Can't be that hard to implement?

I believe 16 is the limitation set by the midi framework on which the OS written with.  So wouldn’t think that more than 16 is possible without some major overhaul of the firmware.

I'm curious why you would actually use that many different tunings. Can you elaborate a bit on how you use all of these?
