The volume seems to go down after each note played

The volume seems to go down after each note played
« on: August 18, 2018, 09:02:16 AM »
With the basic parameter, a single oscillator, my volume seems to step down after each note played and then it will cycle that way.

First note is normal, volume steps down lower at second note, volume steps down lower at third note etc etc.

It is strange to me because I don't seem to notice that issue with the factory patches, so I figure I must have something wrong somewhere. Also, I can reproduce the issue on any octave on the keyboard.

Give me some info on the issue, or how to fix it, or how dumb I am for thinking it is an issue in the first place  :P

Thanks for the help!

Is your gated sequencer active by any chance? If it's in keystep mode you might get such effect.

Sadly not, it would of made things a bit easier haha.

Let me be a bit more precise on how I can observe the issue.
Starting from any program, I press down *transpose -Down- and -Up-* simultaneously and then I press *Hold*, which sends me to the default Basic Parameter. With this parameter, as it is said in the manual, I only have one oscillator active with a saw shape.

Then, when I press a note, it is played at the "normal volume". When I play a second note, it will drop in volume. When I play a third note, it will drop once more in volume. This happens incrementally as described until I reach the 8th note, where I almost have no sound at all. Then, if I hit a 9th note, it goes back to full volume. Then the cycle goes on as I described.

I have tried resetting all Global Parameters, but the issue stayed the same.

I can't replicate that. Might want to remove all MIDI and exp cables to see if it makes a difference and recalibrate the oscillators and filters. Otherwise, contact support.

Have you tried to recalibrate the synth ? (Globals item #26)
