Firmware update problem

SUCCESS!

DSI support sent me the v1.2 update in SYSEX form (rather than the .BIN file). I sent the update to the Prophet X via MIDI DIN using SysLibrarian on the macOS, and everything worked! Kudos to DSI support, especially CMBD, who patiently helped me work through the issue.

• PX_Main_1.1.1.0.1.syx → Px_Main_V1.2.0.0.0.syx

Hello guys !

I will need your help on this one ...
Just got my PX today, not even 10min of tweaking, I couldn't drop the volume down with the main volume knob...not responding at all!
I said to myself why not updating the OS
-So I downloaded the last one2.2
-Formated with the PX a brand new USB,
-Installed the last OS
-Restarted the synth as requested
-And here the drama... Blinking PX

Please help, no customer service before monday...

You’re going to need the SysEx version of the OS and a method to send it into the MIDI IN DIN port.

Hello to this thread again! Im having similar issues as described in this thread. Im trying to load the latest firmware update via sysex but it doesn't want to load in. The boot loader screen says that the FPGA update is in progress, but it remains at 0%. I have contacted support, but they haven't written me back yet (I wrote it on Friday so not expecting them to reply during the weekend). Anyways, maybe I need to try to load an earlier version than the latest, but I dont have the sysex file for that, and I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone send it to me here?

Are you doing this via MIDI or USB? USB updates always brick my X (no idea why) and I need to use the bootloader to get it working again. MIDI works fine.

Hi!
I still need to update my PX to 2.2 firmware update.
Can you confirm that now it works thru usb drive?
I can find only .bin extension file, so I think that I can go on this direction

In the same boat as many others on this board.. tried updating firmware and now will not boot up. Would anyone be able to send me the instructions and SysEx files, as support won't be back until Monday? Would be greatly appreciated!!
