Poly mode not working

Hi,

I’m new here, I just bought a polyevolver and was told it had a problem prior to buying it (I got it super cheap)

Everything powers up and all modes seem to work apart from the poly mode.

When I press a key or make chord it’ll flash red on the poly chain light next to the voices on each hit then after 8 or so hits will go back to the voice lights cycle through them and repeat the process.

When on the red polychain light no sound is made when striking the keys.

Is this a setting I can change or is it a malfunction?

Unfortunately when I bought the synth the guy who had it last only new it had a fault but didn’t know anything else.

[Sacred Synthesis]

Poly Chain should be used only when linking the instrument with other Evolver units.  Go into Global, scroll to the second page, and turn Poly Chain to "off."  That's the proper setting for a single four-voice Poly Evolver.
