AS-1 External Programming Options

I recently picked up an AS-1 and it sounds great, but I would like to get some more hands on control over the parameters. Iím curious to hear some of the different ways others are programming it externally.

I have the Soundtower LE, and I tried to map my Rev2ís knobs to the editor but it didnít seem possible. Is that functionality available in the Pro version? Or does maybe the Codeknob editor offer such a feature? I tried the demo, but Logic is not recognizing the demoís AU for some reason.

Another option Iím considering is picking up a BCR2000, as I imagine that will work pretty easily after programing, but the knobby Rev2 is just sitting right here and Iíd rather use something I already have, if possible.

What are you guys using to edit your AS-1ís externally?

I was pleasantly surprised to find that my Prophet-6 works perfectly as an AS-1 editor. You can also transmit Prophet-6 patches into the AS-1.

Not exactly a cost effective, but works perfectly!
