« on: May 09, 2018, 11:04:28 AM »
Hi all,

Soon to finish 256 new presets for the Prophet 6.
Once I get an audio demo done I'll be releasing them.
I'm pretty Impressed by the sound quality of this particular synth  ;)

Heck! You’ve got me wanting another P6 now. Your P’08 presets were easily my favourites, besides my own programmed sounds. Looking forward to hearing more of them.

These are truly beautiful, too numerous to mention all the great ones. The bass patch at 14:39 made me pull a bass face - it’s nasty!

I’d mentally ruled out a P-6 due to the short keyboard and simpler architecture but it sounds so damn good! I wonder whether a desktop might be the solution so I can pair it with a 5-octave keyboard. I can only afford 1 poly and it’s difficult making a decision as there are so many good things about all the DSI ones.

These presets are very good and make excellent use of the warmth that I purchased the P-6 for. I spent a few hours last night going through all of the patches and it was an experience that triggered memories of many classic albums and movies. Hands down the best sound pack that I have ever purchased for a synth.

Very nice work, Tim.

Thank you.

I've purchased these and am knocked out that the Prophet 6 is capable of this wide soundscape. You truly are a master programmer and I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this work. Thank you, Tim for posting here to make me aware of these Gems!

Your youtube presentation sounds amazing and the sheer girth of the presentation is impressive.  If I was a pure American (I’m Canadian) that alone would blow me away … lol.  Seriously - it was the sounds themselves which really knocked me out. That these are all Prophet 6 is just impressive - I’m surprised at what you were able to eke out of this synth.

Do you have an offering for the Prophet 12? I’ve just bought a Prophet 12 (after having a Prophet X, which did not make the cut for me, I tried the P12 - which I love). I’d love to hear more of what you do with that synth (I'm aware you contributed to the factory Prophet 12 soundset).

Hammond C2/L122, lamm memorymoog, minimoog Voyager (Rudi Linhard mod), Prophet 5, Prophet 6, Prophet 12, Andromeda A6, Roland A-80, muse research Receptor, Yamaha DX7IIFD/E!, Motif ES6, Montage 8

Not only are these sounds utterly amazing, but that number of presets for the asking price is insanely good value.

I can't say anything other than 'this sound' is exactly why I bought the P6, but it wasn't immediately presented to me from the factory sets.

Do not hesitate folks - no affiliation - just a synth head that has finally heard the potential of this beautiful instrument.

Just thought I would check in.
So wow, thanks so much for the kinds words.
A lot of work went into these, so I'm glad they're inspiring everyone who's picked them up!

Hi all,

Just a note to say I've been away for a while whilst working on the Summit with Novation.
However, I'll be back with some OB-6 patches in the coming weeks.
They'll get posted in the OB-6 page when they're finally available.
