Using Tempest with a Trigger to Midi convertor
« on: April 30, 2018, 11:24:37 AM »
I'm wanting to seqeunce my Tempest from my modular for a couple of reasons, tightness and the ability to use different
swing/shuffle settings all of which i have 100% control over when using modular, so this leads me to thinking i should
grab a Trigger > Midi convertor, has anyoen tried this?

I'm sure it will work fine for but i'm wondering if it gets glitchy if i'm trying to send really fast triggers via midi, faster than the unquantized setting allows under normal use, as i have some great trigger sequencer that gives me super crazy fast trigers i quite like the sound of. I'll post a demo should i get a Trigger to Midi.

Hi Rob,
I used an alesis Trigger i/O to combine the Tempest with real drums. it's fast, velocity sensitive, and worked very well.
