Blofeld arpeggiator to Tempest

Hi,

I have a Waldorf Blofeld keyboard that works fine via Midi with the Tempest. However, I can’t get the Blofeld arpeggiator to arpeggiate the sounds of the Tempest.
On Blofeld, Midi channel is set to 1 and local control to off.

Any idea how to achieve this?

You need to go into the system menu and assign the Polyphonic keyboard section correctly, this includes midi channel also which particular Pad you would like the incoming midi to play, A1 for example. Press System and go across the menu right a few times to find this.

The Tempest System is set to a specific pad and midi channel.

Blofeld is transmitting to the same Midi channel.

Sounds do play on the Tempest when playing from Blofeld kB but arpeggiator is not working.

The thing is that with my Kronos for example, I don’t face this problem when activating Karma.

Looks like it is linked to the way the Blofeld transmits notes to the Tempest.

If anyone who has a Blofeld can help on setting it correctly to play the arpeggiator you’re welcome.

Sorry mate never used a Blofeld. There is sometimes a option in synths to send midi from keys OR sequencer. I've found best things to do in cases like this is download the manual pdf and open it then use the Ctrl-F and search for keywords in the manual like arp or sequencer if its not the most obvious thing to find.
