Power cycle frequency - powered on continuously or shut off often?

I'm wondering whether longer power ons or more frequent power offs are better for my Rev2.

Is it better if I shut it off when I take coffee breaks, or when I leave for the day, or is it better to leave it powered on continuously, save weekends/vacations?

Leaving it on will generate heat and most components have a life span, capacitors for instance say what there operating span is at a given temperature, I turn things off over night, but if I’m making a cup of tea or away for a short time(couple of hours) I’d leave it on.
