Pro 2 controlled by CV

Hi everyone 

Trying to control my Pro 2 by CV from an external CV sequencer, I am using the 1st CV in as gate and the second to control oscilator frequency.
I have also used a negative DC value to bring the pitch/octaves down , only problem is I seem to be a few semitones out of being in key ?
I have tried using the scale and altering the Dc amount but it makes matters worse.
Does anyone have any suggestions or a better way of controlling the Pro 2 via CV.

Total CV noob here. I’m interested in this as well. I am trying to control the pro 2 with an akai force and can’t get anything to happen. Using cv1 for all osc frequency and cv2 for gate. Any ideas? 

Am i missing something basic?
