Dust covers?

Dust covers?
« on: November 24, 2017, 07:18:48 PM »
Just ordered a REV2 to go with my OB-6, and I'm excited to get it.  I don't see mention dust covers being used?  I've been getting "Digital Deck" covers off of Reverb.com for my other Synths at around $29.  They don't list one on Reverb for the REV2 on but their web site has one for $44! >:(  I don't understand why they charge so much more on their website!   I haven't seen any other covers offered anywhere.

While I lived in the US, I ordered dust covers from here: http://www.cover-it-audio.com/keyboard_covers.html

Nothing fancy, but does the job.

Yeah me too. Unfortunately the REV2 version has the highest price ($44) for some reason ?  I bought my DD OBV-6 cover for $29 last year?

Maybe they offer an eighth-voice cover for less?  ;D

I personally use that:
http://gatorcases.com/products/keyboard/keyboard-covers/gkc-keyboard/61-76-note-keyboard-cover-gkc-1540/

It’s cheaper and does the job but I actually bargained with my local reseller to give it for free given the high price tag of the Rev2. So I had it for free which is nice.  :)

Or maybe they thought people would not pay a voice count license fee when upgrading from eight to sixteen voice versions?

Not what you were looking for but I keep a soft paint brush and can of duster handy.

A big brush like this is perfect for brushing the surface and in-between keys. Its my main keyboard so I have it out 90% of the time.
