As a person with over 30 years of commercial software development, I would like to say that I've yet to come across anything that could be classed as 'bug free and fixed', it's just the nature of the beast in my opinion  :)

Sure... but still DSI use two buzzwords... "fixed" and "improved"... I asume there must be a difference, and I'd like to hear what that difference is :) ... I've been coding since 1980's, so I'm fully aware that there will always be bugs... it just puzzled me, that exactly THIS bug is being "improved on" while all others are being "fixed" :D

As a matter of interest and not related to this thread title, has anyone come across any presets that seem to be silent? I'm sure I have but never made a note of it.

I guess it's the drawback of being a coder... you get curious as to what it really is that "was the problem"... information that others would probably rather be without :D ... this LFO bug has had the REV2 act really strange in some cases, which just trigger my curiosity... I would like to know why it's so complicated to fix :) ... but in any case, I'm happy with any improvements as well... of course.

I have not... yet, at least.

I have made a few tests with the LFO's and can positively say, that the strange breakups that was present before this OS update seems to be fixed... I have not encountered any problems as of yet... nice! ... this was the most critical bug still present in my opinion... :)

I must say that, after checking those patches, on my REV2 that strange behavior does not occur and I'm still on version 1.1.0.2 of the firmware. So perhaps it is happening only on some of the REV2s out there ?
We had a similar thing happen with OB6, where a small percentage of owners would experience certain bugs, but not others. But DSI still managed to correct them in the long run.

I've not had much time to go through the presets, but so far I've come across this once.
