Using Tempest with external sequencer and other gear

Hey guys, bear with me, I'm not a techie guy, just a player, but I need to see if this is possible. I just picked up an old Yamaha QX21 sequencer for my Little Phatty; how do I hook all three together, phatty tempest and sequencer via midi so I can play the phatty with the sequencer and use the Tempest as the time clock? I'm a dope when it comes to midi ins and outs.

Should be pretty straightforward. Run the Tempest Midi Out into the Yamaha then the Yamaha out to the Moog.
