For a long time I did not publish news about updates. So... :)

New version 1.23 released!
Changes:
- Minor fixes and improvements

BTW. On my opinion the editor should be pretty stable and bugs free. I use it every day in my production. If you unlucky tried it sometime ago then try it now. But don't forget to properly configure your setup by this article https://codeknobs.com/how_to_configure_v3.php

Is there any way to play in or step enter into the sequencer, or do you just have to select note by note?
DSI OB-6, Nord Electro 3HP & 6HP, Roland SoundCanvas SC55mkii, Beatstep Pro, KeyStep, Roland SE-02, MPD18 (+mpcstuff), Roland TD-4 V-drums, Fender-Rhodes Stage MK1, Reaper, plus dozens of acoustic instruments

Unfortunaletly there is no way to do this in the editor.

hi,

The VST editor works great! I just have a couple of questions:

What is the ideal way to send MIDI notes? My OB-6 is connected via USB, but I had to disable the OB6 as a device in Ableton so the VST would take over the ports. But then how do I send MIDI to my OB-6? My audio interface doesn't have MIDI outs, so I was using USB to send notes.

I plugged in a separate MIDI interface, and am sending notes via MIDI cable to the OB-6, while the editor is working off of USB? Is this the intended functionality? Seems to work fine, just a bit annoying.

What's the best way to handle multiple instances of the editor? Should I make a patch, record audio, and then disable the VST instance? Then create a new channel with a new editor for other sounds?

Let me know your thoughts.

Yes, that is one option, you can also use LoopMidi software to make a virtual midi cable that will be recognised by your DAW. Choose that cable as an input for your track with the editor loaded on it and also select it in the editor preferences under aux output port:

I have another question about the PROGRAMS part. I can load ob6 presets and downloaded files into the database but is there a way to save your database or export tab to disk?
