Is the Prophet 08 officially retired now?

I can't find any official news on the DSI webpage, the retired news piece only mention Mopho, Tetra and Eveloper. But when you go to the product page for the Prophet 08 its bread crumb navigation says "legacy products". Would that also mean that there is 0% chance of getting any OS updates then?

Yes, the Prophet '08 has been officially retired.  If the present updates aren't adequate, I wouldn't hope for any more.
