Recording in the tempest

Hey guys!

So basically I have used the pitch envelope on the bass and i am in the 16 tunings mode. When I record the bass using three different notes (3 pads) and then listen back I cant hear the sustain of the pitch. So basically the bass goes low to high and then sustains at a note once it comes down from the high note, but I can't hear the sustained note. All i hear is the note from low to high then it stops. Also I can only see one of the three pads playing back. Why is this??

Sounds like you need to change it from AD mode to ADSR mode which is the button to the left of the pitch envelope.

The pitch envelope length is also changed by the amount to make it snappier or longer pitch change.

The Tempest does not record polyphony, that is to say you can only record and playback one note at a time, the workaround is to record into and play back from a DAW or any externalmidi sequencer that does record polyphonic sequences. Or play live.
