REV 2 as HW controller in Omnisphere

I’ve played around with using the Rev 2 as a HW controller in omnisphere and it’s amazing just playing with the patches, but when I try to record midi from it, the whole patch sounds like it’s pitched down and nothing like the original patch. Does anyone have any idea of what could be going on here? I’m stumped.
