I am not sure I understand your question. Do you mean a setup like Roland has created with their System-1 synth? In other words the VST duplicates the look and feel of the hardware synth and when changing something on the VST you can sent the settings to the hardware version and it will sound (almost) identical? As far as I know at this moment there is no VST enabled Rev 2 editor (yet).
DAW-less and going down the Eurorack rabbit hole.

So you wonder if any VST preset settings would be transferable into the REV2 by dumping the preset ? I am afraid that is not possible for several reasons.
The midi implementation of each synth on the market is different. Even though some values are still corresponding to the same settings (modwheel, volume, pitch wheel) the manufacturers have different midi values for the other settings such as filter, resonance, LFO, envelope and so on.
If you were trying to send a sysex patch from your vest to the Rev2, chances are it will not receive the message properly. Or at best, it will change different settings so you wont match the vst sound.
Also, since each synth is built differently, a certain value of envelope for a VST wouldn't necessarily sound the same on the Rev2. Each synth has its character and colour.

It would be handy though to have such function, but in the real world, it doesn't work.
