Tempest record button not responding

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I don't see a search option on the mobile site, so forgive me for not trying to find my answer there.
I'm just having trouble using the record button when I want to because it does not always respond to my touch. I've encountered this issue a few times and I've corrected it by either going to the 16 Beats option and selecting the already selected beat, or by randomly pressing the Sounds, Pads, and 16 Sounds buttons until it responds. Neither of those methods are currently working for me.
I'm wondering what is causing this and how I can correct and avoid it.

I remember a forum member here having the same issue and it was a faulty button that he replaced..You should contact support.
