Feature Request: P6 partial Local Ctrl

Feature Request: P6 partial Local Ctrl

Hello everyone,

I love my P6 with one exception: implementation of Local Ctrl.
Dependent which sequencer I use in Local Off mode the knobs behave erratically.
Values jump or won't be redirected by the sequencer, it's not a joy.
That is of course not only DSIs fault, they have no influence if some quirky german sequencers choose to swallow the NRPNs ... ;)

I never MIDI record knob movements, I bet most people don't do that.
So what I would love to see in a future update would be a partial *Local Ctrl* mode, where just the keyboard is detached from the synth, but the knobs and buttons are still "local on". Moog Voyager and Access Virus have this and it helps a lot to workaround MIDI issues I am experiencing ...

This was already discussed on an inofficial forum I want to point to for reference:

What do people think about that?

Yes! I have wanted this on all DSI synths. I simply never use the knobs, buttons, program change etc. to control anything other than the physical synth they're on. My P'08 is effectively my master keyboard and it's always a bit of a pain having to keep switching between local on and off when I wish to change program or tweak a parameter. Live's midi support doesn't help either but that's another problem.
