Moog LP + Tetra
« on: June 08, 2017, 11:48:50 AM »
Today I decided to hook up my Moog Little Phatty to my other Tetra. I don't take the moog out as much as I should because it is so dern big.

Wow it sounds sooooo good. It is impossible to say if one is better than the other, each instrument sounds uniquely different. Even if it is all subtractve synthesis it's just different. It's like all these years people complain to me why I hate digital VSt. Cuz it sounds like a fire alarm buzzing. It doesn't sound analog to me. Sorry, I had a Prophet 10 and Matrix 12 I was spoiled see.

Don't apologize for having good taste in synthesis.  And I laughed at your description because I used to say that digital organs sounded like glorified fire alarms.

Yeah, right, there's something really nice about the Ladder/Curtis combo. They really complement each other well. That is one of several reasons why I got a DSM01 Curtis Filter when I moved to modular.
