I mean, DSI sell the wood sides on the site, or are you after different ones?

edit - I'd really like some new pads if anyone knows where u can get them, mine are not the white anymore lmao....

Yeah, I'd love to have some walnut sides instead of the mahogany ones.

I took my sides off. More compact. Looks cool in a different way. I’m usually into wood sides though.

Would like some walnut sides myself, but maybe a little bit wider to match my Pro2.

Keep the ideas running peoples.

I've been toying with the thought of using synthhackers long ribbon and incorporating it into the panel .. making them a bit wider would make sense :)

Thanks for the idea!

I'd be lying if I didn't have a bit of 'side-envy.' My Tempest has relatively darker sides, and I'm always thinking how nice it looks with lighter ones. Of course I'm sure I'd want darker ones if I had lighter sides ;D

Nevertheless, it'd be awesome to have custom sides available for this kind of equipment -- surely there's a company that specializes in this kind of thing?

I'm going to make some , and it'll be a bit larger than the original, with choices of color and will be glass epoxy for longevity . Also custom built to order as well

Whoa that's nice!

Hey, here's the wood now that it has been cut , sized, filed , drilled, and sanded and ready for color. Am thinking of hitting up a teal based color to go along with the color of the writing , or maybe a royal purple . Any suggestions for this type of wood ?

Hey , check these out. They're ready for color now . Even got around to getting some ready for the prophet 6. Only problem is replacing the front piece that holds the sequential decal.. not even sure how I'd go about this. Maybe I could ask DSI to send me some for the project . Not sure how they'd feel about that though..

Hey, I made some side panels that are almost twice as thick. Ready for color and am still contemplating put them in glass epoxy

You could–but you could also try to bring out more of the wood's chatoyance.

Here are a few ideas: http://www.woodsongaudio.com/smoothgallery/gallery.html <- buddy of mine who makes high-end turntable plinths.

Wow, better than I thought, they look great when wider. Look forward to seeing them when they are finished.

Apologies for the late reply. Those look great. I'd love to see a bit of stain or something put on those to further bring out the depth that the wood contains!
